Orders and Payments

How to place an order in the Mercado do Vidro?

Initially you should make a registration. Ordering can be done through a very simple process:

- Click on the available areas to find the different packages: Olive Oil, Beer, Decoration, Food Products, Spirit Drinks, Wine, Seals or Accessories.
- Select the product you would like to order and add it to your shopping cart by clicking the "Buy" button.
- Once you have selected all articles, you can proceed by clicking "Checkout".
- Make payment: You can select from various payment methods.
Once your payment has been confirmed on our system, your order will be processed and shipped, and you will receive a confirmation notification in your email.

Will I receive the same article I see in the photo?

Yes. In the Mercado do Vidro we sell high quality products from a renowned set of manufacturers. These products may have slight differences in color or finish while maintaining the same characteristics. Remember this is what makes them unique and special.

Can I change / cancel my order?

If you would like to change any information before the order is shipped, please contact us as soon as possible so that we may make the desired change.
Order cancellation must be made before shipment (confirmed by email) upon express request via email info@mercadodovidro.pt. What payment methods are available?

ATM / Transfer Reference: After confirming your order, you will receive an email with the details to make the payment. Payment can be made at an ATM or through the internet homebanking service.

No. At this time we have no collections.

How can I track the status of my order?

After you have validated your order you will receive a confirmation email with the details and information needed to be able to track the shipping status.

Is there a maximum order quantity?

No. You can order as many quantities as you wish, but if you want more than one pallet for logistics and shipping reasons, we advise you to contact us so we can see the best solution for delivery so we can guarantee a good level. of service.

Can I delete any products from my order?

Yes. In the shopping cart you can delete unwanted products before you complete your purchase and before you pay.

Can I invoice my orders on behalf of a company?

Yes, you can fill in the required billing information with your company name and tax ID and make the purchase, or you can make the purchase with your personal data. You must select your billing data before finalizing your purchase.

How can I use promotion codes and what should I do if they don't work?

To use a discount code, simply place your active code in the shopping cart and click “apply” to benefit from this promotion. In case it doesn't work:

Shipping & Returns

Can I pick up my order at the Mercado do Vidro facilities?

Yes. At checkout you can select your physical store pick-up at Rua João Vicente Soares Mota, 124 - Marco de Canaveses.

What is the delivery time of my order?

Orders are sent after receipt of proof of payment. The delivery company ensures that your orders are handled with priority. Delivery time may depend on the intended location. In mainland Portugal it may take 2-4 business days. For Peninsular Spain the estimated time is up to 4 business days.
We are not responsible for delays arising from strikes, nature phenomena, delays in the liability of the carrier and other occurrences unrelated to the Mercado do Vidro.

Can I ship my order to a different address?

Yes, we guarantee a delivery system that favors delivery to alternative addresses. Simply enter the new name and address and we will deliver your order to the address indicated on each purchase process.

I did not receive my order. What should I do?

In this case, please contact us by email to info@mercadodovidro.pt. In the event that your order is incomplete due to out of stock, we will contact you to change it for another equivalent product or return.

How long do I have before I can make a return?

Complaints are accepted within a maximum of 14 days as provided for in Article 10 (1) of Law Decree 24/2014 of February 14. Exchanges and returns must be made within 14 days of receipt of order. To make the exchange or return, the product must be in perfect condition and in the original packaging. The return of the product is the responsibility of the customer.

How should I do if my order arrives damaged?

Prior to shipment our products are carefully checked and packed with every precaution to ensure safe shipment. In case your order is not delivered in the best conditions, you must return it immediately to the transport company and justify the reason for the return on the delivery note and notify us by email: info@mercadodovidro.pt. How should I do if the items received are incorrect or defective?

What are the measurements of shipping boxes and pallets?

Products vary depending on your order, however you will have access to this information in the product features.
Our products are shipped in 100% recyclable practical and simple, sturdy and safe enclosures with dimensions of 400x400x320 (mm). The weight will depend on the type of products ordered.
In the case of pallet shipping, we will use the Euro pallet with dimensions 1200x800 (mm) as a base.

What should I do before using the packaging?

We recommend that a glass cleaning process be carried out prior to use of glass packaging:
1. Rinsing: Removal of larger dirt with water application;
2.Cleaning: Removal of dirt by applying detergent;
3. Rinsing: Removal of detergent with running water;
4. Disinfection: Destruction of bacteria by the application of disinfectant or heat;
5. Rinsing: Removing disinfectant with running water;
6. Drying: Removal of excess water.
